Water Leak Detection Sensor VLF-299

The water immersion sensor operates on the principle of liquid conductivity. It uses an electrode probe to detect the presence of water and then converts the detection into a dry contact output.
It has two output states: Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC). (Default is typically Normally Open).

Input: Dedicated electrode for water immersion detection, made of 316 stainless steel. Minimum detectable water depth is 2mm.

Output: Dry contact. Outputs an open circuit during normal state and a short circuit during an alarm state. Contact capacity: 3A/30VDC, 3A/250VAC.

Operating Power: DC 12V/24V ±5%.

Operating Current:

• No water alarm state: < 10mA
• Water alarm state: < 30mA

Immersion Alarm Height: 1.5 ± 0.5 mm.

Operating Environment:

• Temperature: -10°C to 60°C
• Humidity: 20% to 95% RH (non-condensing)

Storage Environment:

• Temperature: -40°C to 65°C

Sealing Method: Potted with epoxy resin.

Cable Specifications: AVVR 5*0.3mm², length 100cm ± 3cm. Conductor resistance (69.2Ω/KM 20°C), flame retardant VW-1. Cable dimensions can be customized.

Housing Material: Zinc Alloy.

Dimensions: Φ48.5 * 30mm ± 0.1mm.

Place the sensor vertically on the surface to be monitored, with the electrodes facing down. When installing, pay attention to the terrain of the placement surface and choose the lowest possible point for placement.
